Favorite cartoon of all time?

I have my selection of Cartoons/Animated series that i have genuinely enjoyed. I consider cartoons and animated series to be two different things though. A cartoon for example would be Tom and Jerry, an animated series would be Beavis and Butthead. But that's just my opinion, something like Tom and Jerry is something i'd consider a classic cartoon. These days cartoons are REALLY bad, i mean seriously. When i was little i remember Nickelodeon being cartoon-dominated. Now they have shows that are just kinda lame. Same with Cartoon network. So What are your childhood favorites? Which would you consider the best of all time?

The best cartoon show for me is X-Men. The original 1992 series, and not the recent animated ones. I don't like the story of the new x-men. I prefer the old and original version although the effects are not that nice. X-men really reminded me of my childhood on how I would wait for the day of the week just to watch this show.

The entire family enjoys watching Avatar: The Legend of Aang and The Full-Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. We love this two animes so much that we even bought DVD copies of the complete series and had a game installed in our PSP slim. These are shows really worth watching.

I'll go with Tom and Jerry. It's one of my best childhood favorites. I just cant get over watching Tom chase Jerry or vice versa. It's fun and i love it..

I totally agree that the cartoons that are on offer these days are really lame. Its so hard for me to pick my favorite cartoon of all time....Im afraid I would have to go with The Simpsons...Its just the most consistently funny show of all time in my opinion. South Park would probably come in a close second. But I also have to give some other classic cartoons some recognition...Shows like, Rockos Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, beavis and Butt-Head (WHICH IS MAKING A RETURN SOON!!) and I know it wasnt a cartoon but Sifl and Olly.

What a great question! I use to love watching: The Flintstones, Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, Fat Albert, ohhh ae classics, ohhnd the list goes on. Those were definitely the classic....and can't forget Scooby Doo!!

I loved a bunch of the old shows that Nickelodeon used to have. I Love Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, All That (wasn't a cartoon but it was funny), Catdog was good too, Doug and Animaniacs. Those the only ones I can think of at the moment but there are a lot of the old ones I loved and still love.
