It was recommended by a friend telling me it is a sure tearjerker. My husband and I watched it last night and we both ended up wiping our tears before the movie ended. If you have not seen it yet and love tearjerkers, this is a must see.

yeah, I've watched that movie months ago. And tears fell down my cheeks too not only at the end of the movie but also at some part where Hachiko patiently waits everyday for his master. The movie has shown how loyal a pet dog is...Hachiko was a good example of "man's best friend"...Hachiiiii!!! =)

Yeah, Hachi indeed showed us that a dog can indeed be very faithful to his master! I was tearful when I Hachi was shown old and dirty still waiting for his master at the train station until his master's wife saw him there. There were other parts were I had to hold back the tears but then near the movie's end, I thought there is no use holding back. My husband and I wanted to know what kind of dog Hachi was, so he researched about it. He found out that Hachi was an Akita. And these dogs are known for their loyalty and are also intelligent.

"Hachiko, A Dog Story" is a must see movie for all dog lovers out here in mylot. At first, it was kinda slow in the beginning with all of the conversations between Richard Gere and his friends at home and outside. But the climax of the story really turns up when Hachiko patiently waited for his master everyday at the railway station. This movie reminds us of how dogs can be loyal to his master at a very young age. At the same time, it teaches us discipline and and being patient to our pets like dogs. Dogs maybe animals but they can sense our emotions and understand our body languages. I wish I could afford a breed of dog like Hachiko who in reality, was trained to be discipline and loves attention! To all those dogmeat eaters..................Think twice before butchering a dog!
