how many oscars did titanic get

Hi Hemsagar, Like every says, Titanic has won totally 11 Oscars Awards... Yes, After 12 years James Cameron Directed a very huge project called Avatar.

Titanic have won 11 awards(1997),Best film of the year,best director,editing,artdirector,cinematography,costume designer,visual effect,sound effect,score,song,sound effects editing.

Titanic is one of the largest grossing movies of all time. It set the bar quite high in the box office. Many movies have come close to it, but none could compare to it. At least I don't think so. Many movies since then came close, but none quite compare to it. Avatar is coming close, compeating. But its not the same. Titanic has to be James Camorn's best work of art. Despite the fact my views on it drastictaly changing. Love stories are quite cute, I'll give them that much. But.... yeah the movie could have been good without the focous on the love story, but the ship, its people etc. I still think others could do much better. But that's one woman's opinion. And its only an opinion. As for where it ranked. I don't know. Avatar is the latest, and second-most talked about movie. Is it the only other work of art James Camorn did? I don't know. I do know the possibility is quite likely since it can take years to make a movie. especially one with so many special effects.
