I have two accounts in paypal and both have funds in it. My first one was verified and not limited. My second account was freezed when I tried to submit the same documents to open its limitation. It was the same documents that was used to open my first one and they got it open effectively, but why is my second account not opened? It was the same case anyway?

Ohh man how come you submit the same proofs for the second account. As per the terms you should only have one paypal account violating which there are chances for them to freeze your two accounts. if you had any thoughts of starting a online business then you can have one personal and business tiers associated with single account than to create new one.hope you get your account back.

what made you open another account despite of having one? its really tough to convince the paypal guyz and the verification process might take months as your account is freezed unlike limited

Those two were not verified before and then got the first one opened first then got a free VCC from a friend so I used it to verify the second one, but to no avail, it got limited then now freezed for 180 days.

Yeah, man. I've just transferred the funds on the second account a couple of weeks ago and was disgusted to see it limited. ARgh! I regret adding that amount, it was $50... If there's only a way to return it to my original account then I would do it.

That is really bad. I think it's only paypal that can solve your problem too. Good luck in getting your accounts okay.

Really?? HOw did that happened?? I have got 2 paypal accounts as well, just that only one of them is verfied while the other is not.. Maybe paypal only allows one paypal account, per bank account, or credit card being linked to it?? IF not, i cant find any reasons as to why paypal will freeze your 2nd account.. I should be glad that i have not verified my 2nd account yet!! Better check with paypal, before u lose any funds in it..

only paypal help desk can solve your problem send a support ticket there. This is the link of their support center: https://www.paypal.com/in/cgi-bin/helpscr?cmd=_help&t=escalateTab. do you operate your both account from single IP ? if yes it might be cause, I don't know perfectly but better to ask at help desk . yeah, I have no bank account associated in the second one yet but it was both verified with VCCs.. I have no landline for now so I've been contacting them through email only and they return the same email saying that I should submit blah documents which I have already.

Hi Basqui. It happened to me before. I have 2 verified premier accts in Paypal. The 1st one I opened and verified when I'm abroad using my cc in that foreign country. When I returned in the Phils., I can't change my country in my pp acct. so I opened another one and verified it using my local cc. When I transferred all my balances from my 1st pp acct to my 2nd pp acct. both accts have been limited after some days! I submitted all the documents they required from me but my accts. keep limited. I tried to write them and made several follow-ups but I always just receive an auto-generated response saying they will review my acct. I also receive something that says after 180 days they will send me an instruction on how to withdraw my funds. Well, I can no longer wait that long so what I did is called them. After some discussion with their cs, they immediately enable me to withdraw my funds. If it took you so long to wait for the limitation of your acct access, maybe you really have to call them. There are call cards that allows you to call a U.S. no. for only P2.50/min. (Globe/Smart) or P1.50 (PLDT). I think it's worth to spend a few pesos if you really want to withdraw your $50. Good luck!
