nothing last forever... is this true?

u can never own something that was never yours..so let's stop gripping on things we expect to lasts forever because nothing lasts forever..
this is what my friend told me...
i told her,how sure are you?
isn't it that someone who really loves us truly will keep their love for us til the sun shines? or is it like i just want to believe in this theory that most of people don't believe in?
tell me your thoughts please...

I guess what don't last are the things you can physically hold. But those that you hold by mind, heart, and soul are the things that truly last forever. Love may fade but it is never gone. It just lessen. Just a thought. :D

yes,we can 't hold things which are physical ones like what we have now.
those memories from mind,heart and soul can also be forgotten also,just in time.
so,i guess it can't last forever.
but love,you are right! sometimes it lessens or sometimes it can be added more each day,depends on how a person loves someone.

Unfortunately or fortunately, yes, nothing lasts forever. Just imagine if poor people stays poor, if a sad girl stays sad, if the sun stays at the east. But be sure, that everything has a cycle. If we are sad now, there will be time when are happy. If we are out of love now, there will be time when we love again, etc.

yes,of course! life is a cycle,when you are down,there's time for you to get up.
we have to do something to be in a positive side of life,right?
we have to keep in mind that there's always positive side,not always negative if we just believe.
but i'm saying that what lasts forever is true love,my friend,do you agree?

Yes nothing last forever....its true. Friends and family,they are just part our our life, they come to our life for short period of time. Our life is short and meant to be experienced and celebrate every day that we are here. Happiness and sorrows have its own way. Our life is like a sun set without a hope to rise again. We get happiness in our friends and family but they will leave us alone on this earth all alone alas ..nothing last forever only the memories stay deep inside our heart.

i'm talking about everything here.
yeah,as most people agreed that nothing lasts forever,in terms of physical ones.
it's true,of course! like you said we don't know when will our last day here on earth,that's why make the most out of it.
but in your last line,you stated,only memories stay deep inside of our hearts.
those ones will remain.still means,those will lasts forever,right?
and what we kept inside of us,the love,memories,happiness or sorrow moments,it will all stay with us.means those will lasts forever!

Only somethings last forever...memories do...good or bad, love sometimes maybe..hate yes...but true love...I have never experienced it to answer that...just out of curiosity, what is it that made you post this discussion?

With passage of time,a person changes physically,mentally and spiritually. The whole environment-physical,social,and work life that encircle a person changes,as time flies.In response to the changes occurring in different aspects of life, one gets naturally swayed away by the circumstances. Change is the only truth of life. Nothing remain static in the flow of life across all diverse entities. One must always be prepared to accept new and fresh things,as one moves on.In fact,nothing lasts for ever, in the plane of gross physical life. The concept of immortality is far from reality,in the gross plane of worldly life. Thanks.

I believe that if we love someone with all of our heart and even when they are gone we should know that love is still there in our hearts, and our minds, its something that wont ever go away, As for the physical things they will go away some day, but as for love, its always there.

Would love to say the things that stay in our hearts do stay forever if they are properly nurtured. The things that don't are normally physical in nature just like the props that make up the set for a play.

those physical ones we used to see won't last.like those happy moments we have with our special ones,or the loved ones we have loved and lost.but if we keep them in our hearts,they do last.

Somehow it's true, that nothing last forever.... Like love,career, the material things. I can say that friendship and family might last forever. Hoping it will stay with me for life... My have good sets of friends from grade school and up to now, i still have them around.

That is true that nothing will last forever. Even happiness and sadness will not last forever. Nothing.
Nothing is permanent besides the changes itself. That's life. If you ask me how sure I am about what I am writing now. I am pretty sure, a hundred percent sure!
Your friend is so right. Don't ever hold on things. Depend on a thing that you think will last forever. What you can depend on is your own mind. You must open up your mind and your eyes and your heart to see that this world is full of changes. Nothing stays the same.
So, live your life, go on with it, do the best and remember to live in the present. It's a waste of time to groan on the past and worry about tomorrow. So, let's move on.. Let's live our life in this present time.. :)
