i suggest more mechanical as its the rocking branch n moreover opportunities will b der at anytime its not like computer stream as it depends on the boom

Here in North America, there's a lot of opening in Civil and mapping such as Cad software like LDD and GIS so I advised to student to take Civil and Geotechnical engineering which is more advantage to other field when it comes to job hunting in North America. Good luck.
