What makes you want to refer members to a site?

I run a GPT site so I am very curious, What makes you want to refer members to a site?
Is it to win a referral contest? Is it because you like the site? Is it because you know the admin? What makes you refer people to a site where you can earn on?

I have not had much luck in getting referrals no matter what I do and believe me I work hard at it. But plain and simple you referral members for two reasons, one you know it is a legit site site so you can trust when you tell them they can earn and secondly so I can make more money.
Ya think maybe this is why I do not get referrals. LOL..

Haha, then you'll probably like my referral contest coming up! $100 for 100 active referrals(only require minimal activity.. it's my way of trying to prevent people from just referring bots/accounts they make themselves.)
Also got a offer promo and other numerous one's like being the most active on the site. It should equate to about $3,000+ worth of promos by the end of the year(or more depending on how popular my site gets before years end.). As well as an instant pay every day no-minimum to those that are super active within the site.
