Advice on PTP photos and other ways of generating revenue with original photos?

Has anyone here every done PTP Photos like on Shareapic? Could you give me a little bit of info on how you earn on sites like that, or even recommend any other sites? I am looking to create a small stock photography business for myself where I would license photos for use to people needing them, but I wondered if it would be useful for me to also post my non-exclusive photos to a site such as Shareapic to ear a little extra off them? Or would you think posting them to my own blog with Adsense would make me more money? Looking for any ideas and advice that you may have on this subject so I can decide what I'd like to do with this. Thanks!
