I don't how is my friend's reaction gonna be, but I am not going to tell him, until he going to find out himself, or someone else going to tell him. I guess a friend of mine post the video about him when we were in the Las Vegas. I hope that after he saw it, he won't get piss off. I hope that not many people going to see it too.

NO, If someone posts a video of someone else without there permission they are not a friend. It doesn't matter what the Excuse, Reason, Logic or illogic. The thing that really gets me is your friend that posted the video should have heard sometime in his life "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". One last thing, If you don't tell the person in the video that they are now a youtube celebrity then you are not much of a friend to them. It is not like you posted it, But if they know you new and did't let them know. You are just as guilty as posting it.

Well, what a sharp comment. Okay, you got your point. Maybe what you think is right, and people should have the right to know the truth. If that is a joke, and it is no big deal. He already knew, but he understand that it was prank.

Hello first.I will never post a video of my friend on youtube without asking him.First i won't do that because he is my friend.Second i won't upload it there because the video may not be with a good content and he may feel shamed about the thing he had done.If the video is embarasing than i maybe will upload it without asking him but i am not sure.

It really depends on what type of video it is. If it was a video with a bunch of my friends then I probably wouldn't ask for permission. But if the video only had a few people in it I'd ask first before posting it. Some of my friends wouldn't care but I do have some that are a bit sensitive and they aren't the type that are comfortable with complete strangers viewing videos of them. It's always best to be safe than sorry. In your case, the video wasn't too bad or embarrassing, was it? The content would be important to how this friend is going to react when he sees it.

For the most part, I have asked family members if they don't mind being on Youtube. With friends, if they're part of a bigger group, I just post the videos. The videos are innocuous like a tennis match, a wedding dance, skating, picnics so they don't mind.

I would never post a video of anyone without their consent. That is such an issue of mistrust and deceoeit. Doing this to someone you don't know very well is harmful enough. doing this to a friend could be the end of a relationship. don't take the risk just to gain some satisfaction for yourself.

I have posted videos of my classmates talking during gatherings and I have one video clip of them singing wildly in a Karaoke lounge. So, nothing to embarrass them really. And after uploading to YouTube, my friends at Facebook are the first to see them. Anyway, as a rule, don't post online anything that will embarrass or ridicule somebody. If the person has a reputation to protect, you should think twice. And the context of the video should give you a clue if you can post it. If the video was taken during a gathering with lots of people also in the shot, you can post it safely without incident. P.S. If your friend is trying to hide the fact that he was in Las Vegas, then it's probably not a good idea to post the video.
