Have you ever lost your ID? You are going to the office early in the morning and your driving fast, as you jump out of the car you walk fast towards you office building. As you approach the main entrance you grope for your ID in your bag. You stop for a while to take a look, having into your mind that you have misplaced it somewhere.... you have checked all the pockets in your bag but still you can't find your ID, Your head is getting red, time is ticking and you will be late. You call your brother at home hoping that you've just left it at home... but your brother also cant find your ID.. You run back to your car to check whether you left it there.. but still no sign of ID... you are hopeless... final option is to go all the way to the door and pray that the guard will not notice you... you rush to the door... suddenly someone stop you from entering, the guard.... you have no option left... you put down your bag and face the glass mirror and talk to yourelf, "Where is did I lost my ID?!!!" And as you look to your reflection, you see something glitters in your polo's pocket, your ID's pin.. then you take it out slowly...it's an ID.... "My ID"!!!!!!!!

Hahaha! That happened to me as well. So into my thoughts that I forgot that I already pinned it to my uniform when I was still working. Those were the days. Now, with my kids, I always have them by the main door of the house so that they can wear it right before leaving the house.

Hi there! While reading your post, I seem to suddenly been transported to my school days; and it quite gave me a smile on my face. Even at a younger age, we do become forgetful on a lot of things at times. Gone are the days when I have to fear being asked or reprimanded by the school guard. At present, I'm already working in a financial institution and this is my fourth employer. Needless to say, wearing our IDs (identification cards) is also a must but it isn't as fearful when we 'accidentally' forget and leave it elsewhere. Anyway, I'd like to welcome you to this great community where lots of thinking caps are on and traffic of conversations is positively busy. I sincerely hope that you will like it here and decide to stay here for good. Welcome to mylot!

This happened to me also way back in high school. It felt relieved when you noticed that you haven't lost your ID.
