Creative birthday gift!

What not a very smart joke one made to himself was pretending that he was not expecting any gift on his birthday date, I think. Actually, it seems that everybody expects a gift on their birthday; man expect it from wife, wife from husband and kids from parent.
Do you mind to share - What is the most creative birthday gift you have ever got in your life (and how old are you at the time the gift was given)?

well, creative... I don't know, but my dad waiting to die the day after my birthday was a good gift
as it is with JFK being killed the day before my birthday and dad dying the day after (granted 21 yrs apart) it doesn't make my birthday the greatest!

very anti-happy experience my friend. i am sure you have accept this life event and handle it very well now. the fact that you can share this experience implied you are a strong man. i wish i can give you a pad at the back for your courage. it is sure not a unique gift but one of a kind experience!
