Having a child is the best thing that ever happened to you. But circumstances like having a complicated life made you decide that you let your child to be adopted by one couple whom you know or you don't know. Do you still have the right to search for your child and claim to be his/her parent after you have already given up the right for your son or daughter before a long time ago now that you have already established yourself? Please share your thoughts guys because my friend who let her child be adopted is now rich because she married a rich guy from other country and now they are not capable of having a child. Now she is looking for her son and will be claiming that she is the mother. There were no supporting papers or any legality for the adoption.

I don't know what's the condition in Philippines. But I watched several TV programs about this. Some are successful, some failed. It depends on whether the adoptive parents treated the child well, whether the real parent want the child sincerely and the the child's own choice, especially when the child is old enough. I think your friend has the possibility of success if her son is willing to accept her.
