Why some people on facebook posts EVERYTHING they are doing in FACEBOOK?

Do you have some friends there who posts what they ate for lunch? What they are going to wear for this day? Posting if they are going to sleep now? Saying they are going to school/office now? I think because they thought they are on twitter!

I usually updated once a day sometimes every other day. I have seen people that do this, but it is more on Twitter than Facebook. Once of my Facebook friends always posts when she is going to work, to the gym or school. She never posts anything else. I at least try to be funny sometimes.

And you either think you like her or you are irritated by her posts.

She is a good friend that I have known for a long time and I do not want to hurt her feelings so I just do not say anything.

They do this because they are putting on a front for others. They want others to think that they are so much better than anyone else. They are the smartest, even when it is obvious that they are not even average. They want everyone to think they are rich even though they have a low end job. They even have their employers on their Facebook page and praise the boss to look good. It is so boring.

"BORING" is not exactly what I can call those. It's more like "IRRITATING". lol

They might think that they are free to say whatever enter to their mind. I think it's up to them how they consider the site and they are free to do so. I am not used the facebook for this kind of fun. I only used facebook to connect my family and friends and no need for me to inform what I'm doing in every single day. I post most of the time about my online opportunity. I introduce it to all my friends on facebook.

I used to do that all the time! Hahaha! I was new to facebook and would post everything I was doing. It's probably because they don't really realize that /everyone/ sees what they're posting and will get annoyed by it. I realized this a few months in, now I hardly update daily, when I used to update almost every hour. It was just a habit that most people have to break. :D

I don't know, I know people who don't have Twitter, and still do this. I think these people are mostly really self absorbed!

I know exacly what you mean. its always a girl doing this. theres not that many of them on facebook, but just about everyone has a girl like this on there friends list. they do it because their ditseyyyy. they want attention and they really are disrespectful and rude for the most part. all the talk has to be about them its really annoying. Nobody cares if there going to the mall now or at jens place, or how many vampire bites they got. i entirley know what you mean

because some desire much attention, it is quite annoying sometimes to check facebook with so much non-sense posting, but what can we do? hehe

Hi, Yes...I do have alot of friends posting their status on what they are doing, they are feeling or anything happened to them on a day. Sometimes, I do update my status on what I cook for the day. or anything that feel special to me. Facebook is a social networking,we can keep in touch with friends overseas, can chat with them and can view their nice pictures. I am not playing any facebook games. I have alot of friends who are addicted to facebook games.

What makes, say and write each individual in different social networks, is based on what they want to express at that time. It is true that Twitter was born more for this type of comment, telling what you're doing right now, but in facebook, myspace so did before it appears Twitter, but found that in these other networks can be seen more amount of information material such as photos, videos, etc.

This is so true! My facebook account tells a lot of things...from what they eat at breakfast to lunch till dinner. They even discuss who prepared the food and how much it costs. My husband was asking me if he can delist a friend at facebook. He has read one who boasts I love the gift of my hubby so I love my hubby. What does she mean? This is one of the reasons I open my facebook account only when there is job to be done at cloudcrowd.

YES there are those irritating people who uses facebook as if it is twitter. She means she only loves her husband for his gifts. Easy money on cloudcrowd!

I guess people like the attention they get from Facebook users. I never update my status on Facebook because I barely use it, I only use it to ask one of my friends if our church group is going to do something.

I didn't have that problem when i was in facebook more time. But i had a lot of friends, who added me because of the games. And i don't like when my wall is full with things about this games, all my friends play. That way i couldn't the posts of my real friends, who i know and want to keep in touch with. That's why i stopped using facebook :) And made my own website. Where people can find me, if they want to. ;)

They can find you on your own website, but you can't find them. Just block the games on FB so you wont receive notifications from their games

omg! i know its getting ridiculous you honestly don't need to document every second of your life! I love you and you're my friend yes but I don't care if you shower today or not, the choice is yours to be made in your head, and no i don't need to know when you are going to work out or if you're feeling or if you're going to eat or not, i don't care that you're going to drive or even jump off a bridge, no i don't care that you spent 2oo bucks on your jeans or that you just got a new mercedes, did you get a house and a bed yet? is more important. i don't care if youre deleting friends because you have 'too' many. And no your name doesn't have that many damn letters or phrases 'mr.toodamnhot and shiny my jewels are blinging can't keep up with the joneses mithcell' I just don't care so get over yourself, you slight minded fool. Kudos to this article i've been meaning to vent over this.
