What was the sweetest thing your hubby did for you while you were "courting"?

You remember those special days before you guys knew you were serious? What special little thing did he used to do? Did he write you love letters? Did he bring flowers? Mines used to bring me false scented flowers. I asked about them he said I bring you false flowers because real roses die, and I want it to last. He would spray he cologne on the rose for me to keep. When I would think about him I would smell the rose.

while me and my now husband, were still"just friends" he would wait at my apartment for me to get off work, once he fell asleep in his car, i had gone to the grocery store when i came home he had fallen asleep in his car and now was late for work, but he still helped me carry groceries up to my apartment before he left. thats just the one of a few that stick out, the others are close to my heart and would take alot longer to write

He would come and pick me up from work with Resees Cups and roses on the seat for me. When I was away in college he would write me love notes.

When my husband and I were first seeing each other there was a song that I loved and every time it came on the radio I would play it very loud and sing along to it with my friend. So to surprise me he went out and bought me the cd that the song was on. He picked me up from work and was playing it when I came out and got into the car. It was so sweet.

Hi. I don't know much about courting before marriage because mine was an arranged one. My parents and his parents met up and matched horoscopes and everything else, decided when and where we would be marrying, etc., etc. But I remember the days after our engagement, both of us used to talk hours together. And the day of our engagement, he gave me a gold ring. That might not be much surprising for others, but it was for me because we did not have the custom of giving rings to show that we are engaged. The day before we got engaged was my birthday and that was my birthday gift. It felt wonderful. And there was more. He had taken the pains to buy make up items for me. He wanted to do that for his wife-to-be. Well, it was a little strange, but it did feel good to be pampered.
