Are you too posh for pink?

Hi, TikaTalk. I love pink. I love many types of pink colors. When I was younger, my mom used to always dress me in pink dresses. Me and my sister both. I love pink, it is a very pretty color.

Hi, TikaTalk Welcome to Mylot. I can appreciate the color pink on other people but I would not choose it for myself. I have always loved blue, all shades of blue. I also like black and white. Hubby and I are expecting our first child right now and the ultrasound says it's a baby girl. I am planning cribs and decorations and toys in black, white and red. No pink. Have a nice day!

hello Tika Talk, I like wearing pink. Pink is one of my better colors I can wear with my skin type. I also like light or pastel pink too. My boyfriend likes me pink a lot. He really adores women who wear pink. Now purple on the other hand he does not like and it kind washes me out too. Dark purples are ok. Thanks and have a great day! Sincerely Unique16

As far as I know, in my area most girls like and wear pink, baby pink is one of the most popular color among girls. I have more pink clothes, I love pink and green but I have more pink clothes than green one.

In my own observation and also based on experience, pink color is stereotyped as girl's favorite color. Some girls don't like to go with the trend or flow with the current. They want to be unique and different. Grown up girls don't like to be labeled as girlish for liking pink. My older daughter used to be crazy over pink. she liked to collect pink stuff. Now she decided to have blue as her favorite. My youngest daughter who is 8 just started to fall in love with pink and is also starting to have her own pink collection. Now, that makes me more inclined to liking pink as well even though I didn't like it when I was young. I was one of those who didn't like to be branded as girlish.

Hi TikaTalk! I also love purple! It's been my favorite color since waaay back. I don't hate pink though. :) But since I love nature, I've been inclined to earth colors for years now. Brown, particularly. And partnered with gold, who cannot look? That's why I don't hate pink, because it goes well with those colors. :)

Pink was my favorite color when i was younger. Now i like more down to earth colors. Red and brown and black is what I like now. I think above all the colors I am more partial to red now. Almost everything I own seems to have some red in it.
