why Google exited Chinese Market

This year Google declared to exit Chinese Market. I am a fan of Google and use google search engine every day. It's convenient and very helpful.But now, When I enter the website of google, it aotumatically skip to another web.It's boring. does anyone can tell me the reason of this issue?Is that Google was defeat by Baidu in China?
