PTC - the cold hard facts.. I finally see them....

So I have been dwindling in the PTC arena for some time now. Down from 50 sites over the past 2 years to 5 and one of those is on its way out once I reach cash out of $20... been working on that one for 2 years now and the site admin won't let me slide and cash out at $17 and then delete my account..however that is another story for another time. But I have 3 that are good payers. Cash out is $10. They have a bunch a day. I thought it was great.....until I literally looked at the proof that had been right there all along, I just didn't bother to do the math. And I have been singing the praises of these 3 sites and still dont' have any referrals so this is all on my own clicks. It costs me $10 a year for the upgrade on two of them. But they have lots of one- centers. I thot it was "worth it". I just reviewed my payment history for the past 2 years - 2008 and 2009. The cold hard facts say.... I pay $10 a year for upgrade on the first one.. I earn that back in the first 6 months of the year. THe next 6 months I earn another $10. Bottom line..I only make $10 a year for all that clicking! The other site, I pay $10 for the upgrade, cash out is $20 minus $3 for check processing.. so I earn $17 the first 6 months, use $10 of that for the upgrade each year and earn $10 the rest of the year.. or $17 a year. The last site..I don't have an upgrade and their cash out was weird, but now...$10. I looked there and I cashed out at odd times, but for a total of $12. So.. for all this clicking for a year... I earn $30 a year. Is it really worth it? I just have to ask... is it? Granted I do other things while they run out if they aren't anything I am interested in, but the headaches of it all just to do that over $30 a year? I have one more than I cash out for a buck a month, but that one is so quick and easy and she pays perfectly and all.. and I think a buck a month..at least I see something each month while I get $12 a year! And I have a few referrals that help me get that. What about you? Would you continue to click for this? I know $30 is better than nothing, I know it isn't costing me anything to do it, but still.. am I worth more than that? I don't like to leave the balance in and cash out once a year.. what if they go under and I loose it all? But cashing out at $10 and keeping track if I get it.. I dont' know.. maybe I am just in one of those moods, but it just really hit me hard, that that is all I am making...and it is costing me $20 to make that! Granted not $20 out of my pocket, but still..... What do you think?

I can sense you anger or frustration, but I think the experience has made you a wiser business person. Don't dwell on the past and use your experience in your future endeavours.

Well, like anything, you have to try to see how it works... run it up the flag pole and see how it waves...toss it against the wall and see if it sticks...

It may not cost you money but it costs time, time you cold be doing something else. I only do 3 programs that have paid me and one search engine that pays beyond that I don't bother. I know many people like to do the sites that pay you to complete offers but you know what, that's too much stress & personal info to make change KWIM?

Oh no Time is important for me and I do not want to waste my time for such things , first I wanted to make it sure whether its paying or just a waste of time, 20-30$ is not the question but you should concerned about how much time you are spending on it .
