I'm sorry if this was already mentioned but textbroker.com is a great article writing site. You do have to apply, although I am pretty sure you will get accepted, then you pick a job, follow the instructions and get paid. Each article pays any where from .75 cents to 3.75 (for a three star writer) which is what I am. Pay outs are fast and this site has NOTHING to do with getting people to read your work or visit or whatever. It is more like a free lance thing, customers go there needing articles written, textbroker lists them in their job bank and then you write them. Another cool thing about it is that while you are browsing the work it is a first come first serve basis, so you are not trying to compete over work, you simply grab and go. I've made a little over $20 on that site a while ago for about may three hours of work. I'll post a screen shot in the pics of my payout stuff. I haven't worked over there in quite some time due to personal reasons, but I am going to start again, now that I've told you about it. Another great site is mturk. It is sponsored and ran by amazon.com and it is really simple work, that pays usually pennies on the dollar for jobs but the jobs are so easy that I make (when I do it) at least a dollar a day, for maybe 10 to 15 minutes of work. And the best part is that you can either get that money transferred directly to you bank or you can spend it on amazon.com! Neither site does referrals or anything either, it's all about you doing the work. Hope this helps.

Triond is a good place to write, but you have to link your article everywhere to get traffic enough to actually make money, and you have to have a lot of articles to make good money with Triond. I use Helium and Review Stream. I like Helium more because I know my articles will still make money even after I've published them that will come to me directly. On Review Stream, I make money when I reach payout and I only make money if I have votes on my reviews.

How many articles do you think one should have on Triond in order to make some money, more or less? I would be really interested in knowing the answer to this, and why it has an impact, since I am fairly new to Triond still!

Writing is my favorite hobby too. I have joined a number of online writing sites. One that I enjoy very much is "Review Stream". This is a site where one can write brief reviews on a variety of topics, things one comes across in the day-to-day activites, movies, restaurants, shopping, travel, and so on, and get paid for them. If you like writing reviews, take a look at this site. It certainly pays !

Oh Helium is the best by a long way. You still earn long after your articles are published if people still read them. Plus you still own the articles and can publish them other places (like Ciao and Dooyoo, and unlike Triond) and earn twice/thrice. Plus you can earn from up to fifty referrals, but only by knowing their email address. If you would be so kind, message me you're email and I'll gain a ref!
