What would you collect?

I love to travel to different countries and if it is possible to find a nice looking costume doll I buy it. Then I bring it back home to my collection. I also collect postcards from the different places that I visit. I was shocked to see the price of postcards in Tallinn. Usually they are a reasonable price in any other part of the world. I would like to collect a palm tree from Mauritius. I am only joking because if I did that I would probably be arrested. I would pop across the water and collect some postcards of lemurs in Madagascar.

Since I usually travel ecnomically, I tried to find something that will remind me of a place without breaking the bank, so I collect salt and pepper shakers. I have a lot of them, all different, like slot machines from Atlantic City, lighthouses from Conniticut, hat and boots from Texas, dolphins from Florida. I need to get out to the midwest and west coast, but I don't see that happening in the near future.

I've always thought about starting a doll collections like barbie dolls, but not for play just to collect and view. I've always liked barbie dolls and just the look, and craftsmanship that goes into making them and there clothing, thats one kind of item I might consider collecting someday.

That is a really good idea..Hope i can do that someday. Mine, would be collecting shoes and slippers. It's shallow though, but i just love shoes. Hopefully i can accomplish that in the future. And if i have a lot of money, i will try to do what you suggested.

Whenever I go to out of town/country trips, I would find myself buying a souvenir t-shirt and keychain. Everytime. :)) I have a collection now, all stocked in my closet. I put the keychains on display on one of my closet doors, everything just hanging there, and everytime I open it the whole lot jangles, and it's great to remember the places I've been. :))

I have been dreaming of going to Thailand, known as th "Land of Smiles". There are certainly many places of tourist attraction in the country. One item I would be interested for collection is "Thai Silk", very classy ! Very beautiful designs, and first class quality !

Hi, If I were to go to certain countries for holiday, I will keep some of their currency for my collection. I will keep them nicely in my money album and it is kinda a memory for me. Apart from that, I will buy some unique souvenir from that countries too,to show that I have been there before.

Whenever I go to a country or place that I have never been in before. I try to go to the local starbucks and I immediately buy a tumbler with the country's or city's name in it. So far I only have two, a Singapore and a Batangas Tumbler because I have only just started my collection. But next year, I am planning to expand my collection by going to South Korea or Malaysia. I would definitely buy a KL or Seoul Tumbler. Anyway, since your husband likes to collect sand, I suggest that he drops by here in the Philippines, there a lot of islands here and a lot of beautiful beaches where he can get pristine white sand.

I would like to collect hello kitty stuff because I'm a huge fan of that kitty because shes really adorable and cute. My mom says what do you want your whole room filled with hello kitty and yes that's what I'm aiming for because I want to collect everything so that I can have a collection. Over time some items that you collect may go up in value and prize.

If I go somewhere, I will collect the traditional key hook. For example, if I go to Malaysia, I will buy a twin tower key hook. If I go to Singapore, I will buy a sea lion key hook. I do not know when I go to Thailand, what I will buy, may be a girl, he he
