Getting Traffic on my Makeup Tutorial Blog

I am a very well educated and experienced makeup artist, who has recently decided to start a video blog with a new makeup tutorial and product review each week. I have Adsense set up on my blog, but have had no success making money with it. Are there any places online dedicated to beauty tips, cosmetics or product reviews where I can promote my video blog for free? I love what I do, and I am good at what I do, so I really want to share it with the world, I am just having a hard time putting myself out there as I don't have much experience in web design and don't have the funds for paid promotion.
