Dandelion Wine, by Ray Bradbury

I recently had this as assigned reading for school. I'm not a very big Bradbury fan to begin with, so I was a little "eh" before I even started it. In my opinion, it was a great idea, and only decent writing. What are your thoughts?

If this is an assigned reading, there must be something in it that the teacher had liked. I haven't read any Ray Bradbury novel but I will check him out in the bookstore.
