Being alone doesn't mean you're lonely. I've been alone for quite some time now. I am miles away from my family, loved ones, MY HOME! Somehow I enjoy the time that I have for myself. I spend time reading books in different genres, I watch movies even those that I missed. I watch TV series that could make me lough out loud. From time to time, I discover new food, place, and recreational activities that gives me inspiration. Then I realized that being alone is not bad at all. Despite the distance to the people who matter to me, there are so many things around that could make me happy. It's just a matter of appreciation.

But I still believe that No Man is an Island. Man by nature is a social being. But, I agree with you when you say that sometimes, we need space and need to get away from everyone and everything, to be solitary.

Right babz! Humans are social being. Well we can't live being alone forever. We might end up crazy and talking to ourselves everyday. Even though one person is alone, he or she still relates to others and even to the strangers. The human relations still exist. So let us show our gratitude to our family and friends who choose to be with us even though sometimes we drift away ourselves to have time alone.

Hi, jadmari. Welcome to myLot! I love having some free time alone. It makes me feel relaxed. I am able to catch up on many things that I have been putting off for a very long time. I wished that I could be many miles away sometimes. I could use a break from my kids.. They love bugging the crap out of me!

Hello there! Having a free time alone miles a way is indeed great. You'll have a break time from stressful or busy life. Someday you'll gonna have that relaxing moment. You'll appreciate again on the stuffs you havent given attention. Enjoy and be happy when that time comes!

Yes. You are right. Since I'm used alone, now I feel happy, when I'm alone. Initially very sad, but now comfortable with this situation. When my husband worked, and my kids school, I feel free, and can do whatever I want, without being disturbing. I am more happy when I'm alone.
