Some days my computer will go slow for absolutely no reason what so ever, then others my computer will be zippy and run quiet. Do you ever have days like this? It's so weird cause it's not all the time, just sometimes that it has 'bad days' lol

Hi wickedspies, No computer don't think on their own, lol. Are you using a laptop? They heat quite fast. Don't use it on your bed or any soft surface that would shape the bottom of your laptop and cause it's vents to clog. That causes heating as soon as you start using your computer on your bed or sofa. Always use your laptop on a hard plain surface, and if possible get yourself a laptop cooling pad which should help a lot. Heating also causes when you use your computer for long or play games in it, this makes it slow too. In the contrary, heating causes the computer to slow down too. All the best..

That's probably the main problem with this computer the fan is always working extra hard for like no reason at all. i mean it usually sits on my desk all day with nothing blocking the fans but for some reason it over works itself. i probably just need a cooling dock like u said ha ha.

Blame it to the computer manufacturers, developers and so on. Computers don't think because they have no brains, but only artificial memories. These computer memories has limitations, that's why it get slowed for sometime for processing those memories for creating informations as outputs from a very large amounts of inputs of data. The processing time can even get more slowed or just stop processing, then it just goes to quit or shutdown - due to bugs on applications or on Operating System, memory leaks, hardware and devices failures.

I'm sorry what your going through, I've been that way also for more than 10 years of my life but I don't regret it because at least I've have known what I want and don't want in using a computer. That's why I'm now using only an Apple Mac desktop computer, an iMac. I will never ever use a PC Windows.

Of course I won't think computer will think on its own. Maybe you should check your registry, or the source error code. Once in while, some computer needs to be updated.

Maybe there is some viruses infected your computer. Viruses could make your computer slower. If there is no virus infection, maybe you just need to defragment your computer. Fragmented file may cause computer execute program slowly. By deleting unnecessary files and programs may help to speed up your computer. Note! you should uninstalled programs instead of deleting them manually. You can't clean up program files manually.

I think one anti virus software is not enough for cleaning all kind of viruses. You should change your anti virus and install another one. If your computer has really free from viruses, you should defragment you files. It must be many files fragmented due to viruses. Furthermore, add and remove program would caused fragmented file. Perform disk cleaner may necessary to remove unused files and free some your disk space.
