Don't you just hate it when people use religion to pass judgment on you?

Don't get me wrong I have very strong religious views but I believe it is more of a vehicle to get you where you are supposed to be. Not a way to pass judgment on somebody else. I mean everybody has the right to believe what they choose and God is more likely to consider the way you choose to worship then the way you choose to judge others. Only He can truly judge me so put down the gavel and try looking inward for two seconds. Who knows? It may just get you somewhere.

Why be at all? Religious or otherwise? I guess the main point is Religion isn't there for you to crucify others with. You do you, and I'll do me. When you're standing there on judgment day you won't get extra points for telling people what you thought god wanted them to know. Especially when you are guilty of the same or worse. But hey, everyone has a right to their own beliefs. Forcing others to bend to yours is ignorant. And that's their right too I suppose.

These discussions are tricky. The average man walks with a lie in the name of the truth. No one is able to give a name to the great energy of life. The names God or Allah and Buddha are nothing more then words given to control. To control something one must first give it a name. When people say "him", or "he", they do so to have a personal connection even where one has not accrued. The idea being convenience, the brilliant magic trick of illusion, is one we know very well only never have we ever seen it.
