which is the best, doing laundry by hand or washing machine?

I personally think machine washing is easier but I guess it depends on what each person likes =) I like to be able to spend more time with my kids and doing other things. So, I prefer a washing machine. Hand washing, like someone else said does save your on your energy bills though =)

The main benefit of washing your laundry in a washing machine is that you are do other things, like vaccuuming and dusting. However, a machine can be tough on your clothes and won't stop washing if there is a thread loose, it will simply unravel the item. Doing washing by hand can be time consuming however it can also be rewarding, knowing that you have washed your clothes without adding too much to your energy bills ;-)

I have had to wash an article of clothing by hand before. I suppose you could say that either or way works as long as you have the right ingredients to clean the item. It's more a question of what you'd rather do then what is the best. Though if I had to name a few benefits of washing by hand I'd probably say saving energy by doing it yourself. You can get two big washtubs and have one for washing and one for rinsing, then of course have the clothes line for drying the clothes which will make it much more economical as well.
