When was the last time you lied and why?

I was supposed to send a an email to a client and when my boss aked if i had sent it. I said yes. While preparing the report in the evening i realised i hadnt sent the email i sent the email and accident sent a cc to my boss who saw the email and called me in the night. I lied to him that i sent it in error again. I saved myself. But have realised how important it is to finish things on time.

I lied yesterday to my sister, she asked for money, actually it was a debt I had to her, but since I still the money to buy something, I told her that I still did not recieve my salary where in the truth is that I already received it last week! =))
