Yes, it is. She was about two months old when I took that picture. She's actually grown quite a bit since then. And developed a lot of spots!

My dogs know things like, come, go lay down, sit, shake a paw, give five, kisses, stay, they have a bed in the closet so when I say closet they go lay in there, they know what the cage is. It is weird that they can understand so much. I can usually tell what my 7 year old lab wants by the wage of her tail, the way she looks at me, the way her ears perk. She's got a different look to her when shes hungry or wants water. I amaze people when they are over because I know what she wants before I even get up. The cats know come here, get off that, hungry, and get in the house! They seem to have a different meow when you ask them if they are hungry,if they don't meow like that I have no idea what the cats want.

My puppy figured out early on how to tell me her water dish was empty. She will actually drag the empty bowl across the room. Or she will paw me when I have the water running for dishes or whatever. She also has her own body language just like your dog. She has a certain way of looking at you and such for different things.

Hi ya apples99 I have neither a cat nor a dog but know that they do understand a lot. I think cats are probably too clever to actually follow peoples commands and choose to manipulate their owner instead. Dogs seem to understand that if they are told what to do they will be rewarded whereas I cat will ignore your command most of the time and just purr and snuggle up to you to get what it wants haha

Good point dogs and cats are very differnt in the way they respond and think, but I think both are also very smart animals, my cat for example understands meny verbal commands but he chooses to ignor them sometimes haha, my cat likes to try and outsmart me.

I think my animals can follow verbal commands if they want to. They seem to have their own minds and know what they need to do, but I find that they do things just to push your buttons some days, and make you laugh and look cute the other days.
