Anyone been to Possum Kingdom Park in Texas?

A friend of mine told me about this place. She has been there before and is going this Labor Day weekend. I saw pictures of it on the internet and it is gorgeous! There are cliffs in the lake and it looks like a place you would see on the coast, not in the north Texas area. I plan to go there later this year when it cools off.

What next? Armadillo Arboretum? Just kidding, but it is funny that they named it after a possum. I've never been there. My favorite place when I was down in Los Angeles was a garden called Descanso Gardens: http://www.descansogardens.org/ They have these huge oak trees with camellias underneath them, a rose garden, a bulb garden, a house where artists show their work, a Japanese tea house, etc.
