Did you have any nice surprises today to make you smile?

I woke up this morning not feeling particularly happy. Just a little while ago the postman came and delivered a letter, when I opened it I found that I had won £25 on my premium bonds :o)...that has made me smile Has anything happened to you today, big or small, to cheer you up and make you feel happy?

Congrats on your win catalady..:) With an 8 y/o and 2 puppies, there is always something to make me smile..But my biggest was on Wednesday when I received not one, but two packages in the mail, items I had bought off ebay and I was so excited, because I also was on my way out to pick up school supplies for my son..So now I got my purchases and my son is ready for school..

It's always nice to get packages in the post isn't it carmel. I have 2 cats and 7 Guinea Pigs and theres not a day goes by that they don't make me smile with their antics, but there's always room for something else to make me smile :o))

Aww, you have guinea pigs??? I miss having guinea pigs, they are so awesome, even if they do squeal a lot..lol

My Guinea pigs are incredibly loud carmel...especially when it's tea time and 7 of them decide to start shouting at me....could it be that I walk in shouting 'foody foody' at them in a high pitched voice d'ya think? :o)

Oh yes. Today is Saturday, I did not have any plan yet. I opened my Skype and there was a friend, who I did not see for quiet a long time. We just talked and talked exchanging news and by the time we finished I noticed that we talked for two hours. What makes me more happier is that the internet connection was superb, no cut off, no distortion on voices, it went so smooth. I rarely had this superb connection when skyping with friends.

That was a lovely surprise Jenny, surprises don't need to be material things to make us smile do they...very often the non-materialistic surprises are the nicest :o)

I have had a great day apart from my toe bleeding.I got a letter aswell as a phone call with some really good news in it.I also got my sons laptop back from the company that mended it free of charge,aswell as a great statement from the bank saying i have alot more money than i thought and all my direct debits aswell as other regular payments have all gone out of my bank,that means the monety that is left is all mine.Big smiles here.

Not really but yes there is something that makes me smile. Since many time i am sending mail to cfa university and lastly today they reply me nicely that make me feel hasss!!!!!!! Hope that my work there get over in near future.

What makes me smile is my fiance.. :) We always talk over the net because he is thousand miles away from me. And what makes me happy is the thought that it's just another day and soon we'll be seeing each other again. I miss him so much.

Well good for you for getting that money! :-D I can not really remember the last time I had been really happy. I mean I get smiley and "happy" but do not actually feel it. Know what I mean? Awwwwww MrDollars, I do know exactly what you mean about outwardly being 'happy' but probably not really feeling so happy inside - I think we all do that, I mean no-one wants to be around a misery all the time do they! I hope something really good happens to you soon and makes you REALLY happy :o)

I don't need a surprise to make me smile, infact when i wake up, i say to myself that this is the best day of my life and it alwasy turns out like that. I am a firm beleiver int he fact that if you take care of yourself till 10am, the rest of the day will take care of itself. So have fun and everyday will be a surprise.
