The curse-way of thinking, poor education or a hobby!?

I think using bad language can be a part of your daily life if you've grown up with it and have heard it all around you. Either way, you need to make a choice at some point to start using this language or not. To me, it's very offensive, yet it's all around us in the public arena. People these days don't have much command of the English language, and so for some it's a way to express themselves, simply because they don't know what else to say. I always told my kids: "don't start using it...once you do, it becomes a habit, and habits are very difficult to break." I don't see how it's a way to success, though. To be successful does not depend on bad language, but rather on planning and hard work, for the most part.
