Does anyone have any experience travelling to Vietnam? I am actually planning a trip to Da Lat. i plan to fly into Ho Chi Mnh Airport and take another transport to get there. Does anyone have any advise on which agent, transport, or any ways that i can go at the cheapest rate? if you have any advise on safe and cheap accommodations, food, or any places to explore, perhaps even an advise on a minimum budget to stay there for a week. i'd love to hear them. Any Advise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance =)

Hi Philip65, I haven't been to Vietnam but I have applied for a job there which is why I browse a lot of sites so that I can be informed of the situation there and how a foreigner can cope while being there and I found out that Wikitravel is a very helpful site. I think you should search Hanoi in Wikitravel I am sure that it will also be of great help to you also.

hello lealuvy2j, thank you for your response. i've never known such a site exist. i only knew wikipedia. well it sure provides a lot more information at a glance compare to just googling it out from various sites :)

That's nice!though I never visited vietnam but i have a cousin working there before and she said, vietnam is such a wonderful place--typical Asian, the countryside is great, lots of rice fields and you got to learn to ride a bicycle because that's one of their means of transportation.
