What makes a discussion todays top....????

Okay I dont come to this site as often as many of you. But I do try to run through and comment and sometimes smile at some of the topics. Today I read through all the Top Discussions,,and asked myself who grades them as such and why.......any ideas.

I think it is just a random pick of the admin that they put your topic as top so that other myLotters will be able to check out your posted discussion. If it at least garnered a few responses then it will be posted as top but it doesn't necessarily have a requirement to make a discussion top aside from it already has some few responses. Keep on posting nice topics!

They have been attracted by all, and most of them might have taken a look at the topic, whether they answer or not, and more ratings.. I possibly assume that these are the factors which brings the discussions to be today's top.. Even some of my discussions topped sometimes..
