what you sow is what you reap... if youre gonna treat your partner like a trash then its probably not gonna work. theyre perfect example of couples who settled down whn they were matured enough emotionally...they didnt marry young...they waited for the right time to get married when they wre already stable.

I have heard of that expression before as well. Yes, i believe that if you make your husband a king, he will make you a queen. It's easy to say but difficult to do it. As much as we try, there will be times when we do not do it well. However, if two parties are really in love with each other, nothing will be too difficult for them.

I wish that were true. That is such tripe where I live. My boyfriend's mother used to do everything for her husband, and still treated her like trash. She did anything and everything for that man, and none of it was enough for him. It got to the point where she was fed up and left him. She was married to him for 20 years. Just because you make your husband a king, doesn't make you his queen.

I think this is a very good quote for those that are truly in love. Problem is you make someone that truly does not love you a king, and you may create a tyrant. Perhaps it would be better if we start as lowly commoners and then begin the upward climb. I have had too many experiences with relationships and it is not easy for me to exalt someone to that status in my life. Perhaps its why i am still single at the age of 53.

If you make them as your king some men would take it as an advantage to treat their wives as slaves. I'm not skeptic but martyr women are those who give everything for love and ends up with nothin'. I don't want to be in that plight.

Yeah, I can't agree with you anymore. Your husband will make you a queen if you make him as a king! Living in such a so called society, there is a trend that more and more couples get divorced just because they think they have no similar thoughts. A 10 years' marriage is not a short time and it needs that both husband and wife learn to be tolerant of each other, even if someone has done something wrong. If you can treat your husband kindly, then you will be treated kindly too, which is the meaning of true love.

oh yes, i always think that these two people, this couple is bound for a forever love, relationship. I am just so happy for them that they are very very sweet and loving to each other. I remember a radio interview Aga had once too when he guested, or was it charlene.. nevertheless the radio station called charlene i think who was away for some commercial shoot and Aga said before she left... she had prepared everything already for the family - and Aga just told everyone, live in the television that he is really the luckiest man to have found charlene, so loving and faithful and the best mom for their kids too - he said that he is always feeling the love for his wife as if it was just the same as they were newly weds. i hope that other people, showbiz or non showbiz couples would find these two a great example. they really show nothing but happiness and love for each other.

I do love my boyfriend very much and I know that because of this, he loves me very much as well. We enjoy 7 years as lovers and hope one day, we'll end up getting married too...

I had been living like a king for some time...but there were times when you are made to feel like a slave. As newtons third law goes, "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction." we will react when a pressure falls on you.

Yeah I believe in that but only if the married couple really love each other. Because there are certain times when couples get married for a different reason not LOVE. Some married for convenience, some married out of the girl's pregnancy, some just temporary attraction mistaken for love. But I believe than when two people are really in love, the woman will do anything to please her husband and as you said treat him like a king, and because the man really love his wife in return, will try to make her happy. I also admired the relationship of Aga and Charlene. They are blessed with a happy and soulful marriage. :-)

Love simply reciprocates. If you show your husband that he's on top of your list and give him attention at least equal to your kids, you'll surely be the best wife and mom in the world. And they will love you more for it.

marriage is not the end of the love, it should be a new start. i highly doubt this quote. in fact, with the time passing by, the loves, connecting each other, will get pale. both man and woman will regard the love as a deserve. so they will pay less time on their marriage. and get divorce in the end. it is sad nut real. young girls would rather date with the rich old man instead of their peers. money is the main drive of the society, which we should shame of. who should pay for that? the society itself. parents force their children to go to the top school regardless of their children's own interets. the media pay more attention on man who become rich overnight instead of hard workers. all ordinary peole struggle to be a star,once they get a chance. buffett himself stands as a good example. he is almost richest man in the world however, only get 100 gounds fot the salary every year. crips and cola are his favourite for 20 years like an ordinary people

Actually,I think it's true when the lovers are generally matured. My first boy friend treated quitely well, but I was not happy,sometimes a little disgusting,when he gave me some little surprises.It's just because when I was a little girl I thought a man should do his best on his carrer ,not his GF. So we broke up. And now I knew I was wrong.
