Taking scratches out of phone screen

I have a bunch of small scratches on my cell phone screen. Any ideas how to get them out?
I thought of buffing them out , but not sure what kind of buffing wheel/compond to use. I have heard of stuff you can buy too just for this purpose.

First off, please do some more research and don't take my word for this right away. Hopefully someone else can also chime in, but I read somewhere that if you take a tube of toothpaste and put just a dab on the screen of different things, watches, phones, eye glasses that it makes a good rubbing compound to buff out scratches. Again, it's just a thought, but don't go doing it until you've read some more to make sure.
