I've noticed recently...even if I don't play games in facebook...it still eats up my time, just found out that it really a time waster...want to cut it off completely in my life...want to learn to be disciplined in managing my time. Then I realized my priorities... Is it the mundane things? of course not! I want to do things which are more important. I want to start now!

hi becdmd! if you have the determination and the will to do so, you can do it. proper time management and prioritizing will do great as well as discipline. but anyway, i can't blame you for i have been in same situation before.lol! i have tried giving up facebook before but i just can't due to many good things that i like there...so hat i just do no is to open multiple tabs in order to do other thing while monitoring facebook. lol!

I used to spend a lot of time on Facebook, mostly playing games. I played quite a few of them. I have now cut it down to just one game and I do not spend that much time on it. I guess I like to spend some of my time on Facebook because I have found many old friends on there and even some relatives that I have not seen in a long time. For me it is great way to keep up with what is going on in their lives. I am not much of a conversationlist on the phone and prefer to write anyway.

Time management, this is really up to you...to find the answer i think you should find something which is more interesting than facebook or games, such as go outside with your friends , find a girlfriend or determine to learn something which is very important for your future life.in a word,to find something that you really think is meaningful , significant and necessary in your life, then you will make great efforts achieve them because you think they are really indispensable in your life, and then you won't waste time anymore:)

You want a suggestion? Go somewhere for a week or two. But don't take facebook with you. This way you MAY realise that you don't need facebook that much. And maybe you'll quit even the games =)
