Do you find it easy to start discussions or reply to them on myLot?

I usually find it more difficult to start discussions. I mean, I know that you can pretty much start a discussion on almost any subject and have at least 1 response, but it is hard to start something popular. I find it much easier to reply to discussions. It requires less time, and you can comment on pretty much anything. What do you guys prefer? Do you start random discussions? Or is it something that you are really interested in? Or, a combination of both?

Yes,posting a discussion is tracing our thoughts and feeling. It is not valued to post by breaking the brain to think a topic.Happy days for you,my friend.

I agree. I guess I have no preference, as long as I have something I would like to start to discuss or reply to a topic that either interests me, or that I have some sort of knowledge about. That's a much easier thing to do. Rather than trying to think hard about something to discuss, when I really don't want to, I might as well make it easy and look for things that are easy for me to discuss.

For me its easier to respond rather then to create a discussion, but I do either every now and then I actually will create a discussion, but normally I just respond. I have seen many people come here and have low numbers after years of being a member, and its because they just start discussions rather then do responses.

I find it easier to reply to discussions. I like that better than thinking of new topics to write about.

I used to mostly just reply to discussions. Now that I'm back on Mylot, I'm pretty much doing the same thing. My discussions don't get too many reads and it usually isn't worth my time. A lot of my interests hardly ever have any discussions, so I figure most people aren't interested in the subjects that are most interesting to me. I'm going to try to start more discussions and see whether I can get some replies.
