Here in the UK, Vodafone is definitely an industry leader. I've been using Vodafone for 2 years now, and I quite like it. There are occasional problems, but then every network has those. Also, they gave me a golden number for free, so I'm really happy about that. I've contacted Customer Service multiple times, and although a few times there was some confusion, most of the time their customer service is top-notch.

A golden or silver or diamond mobile phone number is basically a memorable phone number as it has a combination of numbers that are really easy to remember. For example it may have numbers in sequence like 12345, or 987654, or it maybe have repetitive numbers such as 638638 or 494949. Hope this helps!

Okay you can give up using the one you are using right now and subscribe to Voda Phone. I mean I am sure you are rich enough to afford two mobile connections.

Hi dear, I think it is not so difficult to change the services. As you know, there are 2 major plans like - pre paid and billing services. If you got a billing one, just write to them saying that you want to terminate the services due to (some reason) and please discontinue the services. [Please pay the bill as of date]. If the services is based on pre paid, no issue, just not to use. For a new service provider, you can purchase a new SIM card (may be free of cost now) providing the necessary and mandatory documents along with the application. The service will start within 30-45 mts. once, you are activated. Even I had the Vodafone service earlier and I stopped the same and started a new service within 1 hrs. time. (I commented this, based on my country, India). Regards, Thank-s

You must have a prepaid card, that's why it is so hard to speak with a consultant. It happened to me too, when I want to call a consultant from my parents' prepaid card. I called and I called for more than an hour, but every time that answering machine kept telling me to wait for a consultant. The last attempt I made, I waited for half an hour, but nobody answered. I listened to their song on and on until I got sick. Then I took my phone (I don't have a prepaid card, I pay my bills monthly) and they answered in less than a minute! So there were available consultants, but they had no respect to their customers with prepaid cards. I'm afraid 'Vodafone' as a brand has nothing to do with how things go in our country. As we use to say, the things are done ... 'româneste' - in our unique Romanian way.
