earnings catergory in mylot ??

sorry i am not sure if there is such a discussion up already but as i could not find it so i decide to post one.
yesterday while playing with mylot i saw the earning increase and out of curiousity i clicked on it to have a look. but there is 4 catergory in there, discussion, referal, task and reward. i get the first 3 but i am confuse with the last one reward. Could anyone kindly explain to me?? thanks.

hi! i earn my rewards by using the search bar! gut 18 cents sometimes! but dont abuse it. what i mean use it as a regular search engine not because you want to get rewards. hey, have fun in here!!!
