It can be quite frustrating when you get a song stuck in your head. Especially when it pops up at the worst possible times and it is only bits and pieces of a song. Not to mention, a lot of the time I have a part of a song and I have no idea where I had heard that song before in my life. Does this ever happen to you?

This happens to me ALL the time, especially when the radio station plays a certain song again and again. And when a song or tune gets stuck in my head, I tend to hum or sing it out, and friends will start to ask me if I like the song or if I am obsessed with it! 
I guess this is something that is pretty hard to avoid, unless if we avoid listening to the song altogether (eg. turning off the radio completely).

Yes, the latest hit that is played all of the time. Even if I don't like it, repition does cause it to be planted firmly in my head. Especially considering it is paid every hour or so week after week until the next big hit comes along. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well.
