Is it worth it to take seriously earning money online and to do it full time?

For most people it's more convenient to work online (freelancing), but is the payment bigger doing this compared to working for a company outside the comfort of your home? Will your hard efforts just go to waste? Is it best to do this full-time or just part-time? Will it just be a waste of time?

my friend, the decision is completely yours.if you are earning good salary offline then you think twice before you leave.again the decision is yours.if you are good at designing i.e i mean webdesigning, creation, java you can earn a lot online.it depends on your location also.so there are various factors that should be considered.

Earning money online doing what you know how to do best to me, I would not frown at it if it is legal and not dubious. In this modern PC age and its unlimited potential, I think it's worth every time spent to make ends meet online. Thinking about my days as a young freelance journalist. Constant responsibility and accountability, going on trips even at night to get news worthy stories and pictures with my outdated camera. There was even a day I had an accident, a big lorry loaded with cows and humanbeing, swerved into our loaded 18 seater packed bus, killing virtually all the passengers and many of the cows. I was socked from head to toes with both human blood and that of animals. Just in a bid to get a story worth N6,750.00K [six thousand, seven hundred and fifty naira]equivalent to the now £30. And sometimes, you might be unlucky getting anything on such trips. Refering to that experience is not just to prove a point, but reminding myself of the alternatives. I have no drawback staying motivated. Today it ceases to amaze me how unmotivated folks are in the case of earning the source of livelihood online. Advance in technology have taking out so many inconveniences that we are able to give attention to our message and services now, we are able to reach out to longer distance with no hitch. Personally, I think I do not mind a little work and little renumeration just at the comfort of my house. We have before us the potential for great things if we appreciate the resources at our finger tips.

It is quite possible. But you need to have good knowledge on how to earn online for you to earn such. A friend of mine is earning online for his main source of income for the past 6 years already. He is quite good so and so that he was able to buy a car, a house and practically provide his family with their wants and needs. But just like and offline job, he does give it his full time.

Hi pinsplotch, I think, trying to make money online full time can be a huge challenge. Unless you have s specific company that you work for from home or online you will probably not make a full salary. Plus the fact that you will not be as certain about how much you will make all the time. Being an employee at a company is more secure. You are certain of your duties, your salary, your health benefits, your retirement. So you can see the benefits of being on a real job. Unlike a real job, online work is totally unreliable for gain any significant amount of money per month. It would be pretty smart, in my opinion, to have a full time job with benefits, and have a hobby of earning extra online.

Freelancing is not a waste of time, if done sincerely. you just have to get a hold on good clients and websites. of course working hours are more, but flexi. but this is not for the bread winner. a job has a security where u are assured of paid every month on some date. here there is no such surety.

Hi, I've been researching internet marketing on the web now for over 5 months and have looked over hundreds of so called business opportunities. 95% I believe to be misleading and scams. I am a couple of years away from retirement and would like to start getting some residule income sources ready for that day. I have a blog dedicated to this subject and I would welcome your comments should you care to have a look at: http://retirementincomeonline.blogspot.com Please email me should you wish to discuss further pj.cole@bigpond.com

i am working full time writing online so it definitely is worth it. it is certainly not a waste of time because apart from earning for myself, i maintain a blog where i put up the links to the sites i am working for. in that way, i can also help those who are seeking to establish an online writing career to be able to find legit sites to earn from so that it will be easier for them, unlike what i had to go through.

On its own, I must say no. Earning online is so intangible that at end of the day we really have nothing except a lot of accounts and balances that are accessible only with the right passwords. So, God forbid, something happens to us, these digital assets are just forgotten in cyberspace. After this realization, I'm more inclined to believe that making serious money online should involve other business activities and other people in the real world. Online moneymaking should just be an extension of what we are doing offline. For me, the real message of the internet is cooperation and interaction among people. And this is best demonstrated if we can somehow involve those in our immediate circle or those we meet everyday. It's no longer enough to say I've made $10 from myLot. It's a lot better and more significant if we can say that me and my friends (in the real world) have made $100 from myLot. Now, that looks like serious money to me.

I believe it all depends on the person, their drive and their situation. I do freelance work online and would love to be home. But i have young children and I currently work for the city office so the health benefits are good. So I'm staying here until I finish my degree then I will work from home. If you actually put effort into it can be done. But for me, with a fulltime job, fulltime school, and three yound children 6yrs, 4 yrs and 11 months, and a husband, I dont have alot of effort to put into online work like i'd like to.

I don't really take it seriously, but I do it full time because it's the only way I'm getting extra spending money, but I like earning money online because I'm doing stuff I normally do anyway, like write reviews and searching the web and stuff, I also make videos so I'm getting extra money for that too.

Earning money online is good and it is more fun than a routine job. But would suggest doing it only part time. A full time job will give you guaranteed income. The jobs online are like a business. You can earn a lot or not at all. So doing online work is best a part time job till you get the knack of it and have a confidence of earning the required amount come what may. Happy earning!!!

It depends on you. Being a freelancer is not easy as many people thought. You have to have a self discipline in managing your own time and can work in no supervision. There are a lot of ways to earn online but it really depends. Opportunities online is limitless but you have to be wise, goal oriented and focus.

Obviously, it is not a waste of time to make money online through our own efforts. Although it is a fact that most people who dream to make big fortune online can only earn little cash with their efforts, it doesn't mean that there are no people who can make a living by working from home. You see, if you can work from home, you will enjoy enough freedom to do what you want. But if choose to work from a company, you must work following the requests and needs of company.

It depends upon your talents. Say, for example you are good in English you can edit documents in CloudCrowd and make money doing that. So, that can give you enough money to consider it atleast as a part time job. But, if you can't do that you could only do the cent tasks in there! Anyway, if you are interested, you can check my profile for more details. Happy Mylotting!
