when the cinema lights go down do you fall asleep?

i am sure i am not the only one to have this problem but no matter how much i am looking forward to a film at the cinema once i get all comfy and have watched through all the trailers i feel myself drifting off to sleep. along with the warm air and low lighting it all becomes too much and worse than having paid out to watch a film i have missed i have the problem of snoring too!

I do fall asleep when watching movies, but not quickly after the cinema lights go down. I usually fall asleep during the talking scenes-they're boring.

I never used to fall asleep, but I think the last time my husband and I went, we both fell asleep during the movie (for a short time), even though the movie was good. I know my husband is sleep deprived and I'm pretty sure I am, too. So, when you get in a comfortable position with lights out, it's easy to fall asleep, especially if it's in the evening.

Haven't fallen asleep myself but I can attest to my aunt and mother having done so. Mind you, it usually happens in the middle of the movie, usually when it's boring.

This has happened to me a couple of times, but it was more to do with exhaustion than the lights dimming and getting comfy. I use to work an early shift and so would be up by 4.30 in the morning and then in the evening going to watch a 9pm showing was always a nightmare. And likewise I am also a snorer and would get a sharp dig in the ribs from my partner at the time.

I think this has only happened once to me. I think the theater was too cold at the time and this always makes me sleepy. Otherwise I do not feel sleepy.

I've never fallen asleep in a movie. I don't think I would unless the movie was really boring. Fortunately, I've never had that problem.

I heard people really sleeping in theatres...some say that they get air conditioned halls to sleep nicely atleast for 2 hours...i've never slept till today...i never will...i spend so much money on watching a movie..not for sleeping the movie hall..hahaha..moreover i really enjoy the movies that i choose so the question of sleeping won't arise.
