Ricky Ponting claiming a 5-0 win for Australia.....Can they????

Australian test captain Ricky Ponting has claimed a 5-0 whitewash of the English cricket team in the forthcoming Ashes Series in one of the most awaited rivalries in test cricket. He is claiming this after their last defeat to Pakistan, who themselves are in shambles..
Do the Australians have in them to hand over a 5-0 defeat to the England team...looking at the English team, the way they are in form...I seriously doubt

There is no chance for the AUSTRALIANS white washing the ENGLAND team to 5-0.England team have been in great form.They have some great batsmen and bowlers.The Australians will have tough competition when they face the ENGLAND team.The Australians are being over confident.Over confident may lead to losing of the match.I think Australia have to be careful of the ENGLAND team.

last ashes Australia looses 2-1, Ricky declare they will be won 5-0. it possible for Australia but England has now very good performance, if they would keeping the good perform it will too hard for Australia to win.. after-then ashes is must important series for England, they would strongly try to wining... it unpredictable who will win

5-0 is possible only if England play poor cricket otherwise this Australian team is not so good to force this result , having said that Aussies are very strong at home but i dont think their bowling is good enough to enable this whitewash, they can win though since there batting is good and bowlers will bowl on home grounds.I think Ponting forgot that there is no Hayden ,Gilchrist,Symonds ,Mcgrath and Warne in the team .5-0 is unlikely , if they win then also it would be a tough series .
