They think they know and understand me!

My sister thinks she does and so does her new husband! They are so wrong! They think I am totally unhappy! They think I have a ton of hang ups! I do have some but not alot! I do have friends! I do have a life! It isn't much but it is mine! I am happy and not always sad which they think I am! I don't know where my sister and brother-in-law are coming from! They don't get it! My brothers understand me more and always have! It is bad enough my dad doesn't understand me but when your sister and brother-in-law do then it is really bad which I found out saturday night! It doesn't pay to say anything because they will never understand! Anyone else had something like this happen to you?

Yes. I was told because I would die for Everyone to have the right to choose their own path religiously I was deemed out of my mind by my sister's boyfriend. And when I said i found that disrespectful I was called wrong. So, I said to him Don't ever listen to me Or talk to me about anything.From that day on, whenever hw speaks, I tune him out . I never say my opinion because I assumed they both see me as crazy.if they aren't going to listen, then why speak. I have been happy ever since. It is freeing to Not have to listen!

I'll never be close to mys siter or her husband. It isn't worth trying and I know if I tried again it would be a terrible disaster! I will not fall into her trap! I'll worry about my own problems and let them worry about their own problems! Family aren't fun sometimes!

We really cant expect people to understand us. There's just know way for them to understand cause they are not thinking what we are thinking. Maybe they know the situation but they really dont know everything. I also dont expect people to understand me.

They really thought they knew me! They really did and how to fix my problems! I couldn't believe it! My brothers know me better then my sister does and ever will! So do my friends! I just hate when people THINk they know me! I hate that! That what this discussion was about!

My dad is like that,too! My mom wasn't much better! I swear my 2 brothers understand me more then my sister and my new brother-in-law! Some people just think they know everything!

i havent experienced this yet but i know that its irritating. maybe they really dont know you that much or they dont feel that your enjoying whatever it is that youre into now. why dont you talk to your sister and assure her that you're definitely happy with your life. explained to her that you appreciate her concern but you know what you want and you know what to do. tell her that you'll just ask help from her if you really need it so she dont need to worry Ü. hopefully she'll stop buggin you Ü

I have tried to talk to her in the past and we became closer as sister's. I don't want to do it again because I know she will push me away again! She'll put me on the back burner and forget about me like in the past! I have gone through this more then once and I am not going back! It is to painful to deal with!

Don't despair... we all have someone like that in our family. They all think they know us but don't really have a clue. The sad thing is most of them won't or don't take the time to find out what makes us tick. Try not to let it get you down. You've got friends that you have chosen because they do get you, let them become your family.....

My friends are like my second family! I love that! I also have my 2 brothers who know me better then my sister! I think my sister-is-in-laws are the same way,like my brothers! I probaly know my sister better then she knoiws herself! HaHa!
