What type of gift do you think is appropriate for a teacher? There are the typical gifts that have quotes about teachers on them or have some variation of an apple. I thought that a fountain pen would make a nice gift. It could be a bit on the expensive side depending on what kind you get, but if it is a teacher who has really helped you in school a lot and made an impact on your life I would think it is a nice gift. What about you? What gift do you think is nice and also appropriate for a teacher?

Who is the teacher? What subject does he or she teach. I think of breif cases with your initials on them. I also think of NASA and maybe having a star named after them and have the document sent to them. A book about something they brough up but hadn't covered. A nice book cover if they like books. A funny mouse pad.

Hello! My aunt is a grade school teacher... when I went to her house I saw lots of bag in her bedroom. I asked her where she got that, she said its a gift from her students... Well, I can say bag is nice gift. On the other hand, my brother is a college prof. He received pen, shirts and sometimes perfume every Christmas and birthday as well. If I have a GC (Gift Certificate) that would be my gift. ^_^

I think a card will be fine, a card to say thanks and maybe a small gift attached but I think the card is more important, the gift can be whatever you want.

Well it would all depend what the teacher likes to do as a hobby. I would try to figure out what he does when he is not teaching.
