The Bugs! The Bugs!!!!

The area where I live has a lot of elm trees and with these trees we have a pile of little bugs the locals call elm bugs. They are little and round like a ladybug but are tan and black striped rather than red with black dots. I have two trees in my yard and the elm bug infestation is unreal! Despite the screens on all my windows, these little bugs manage to get into my house in droves! They drive me nuts!
What kind of pest do you have to deal with and how do you deal with them?

Back when I'm still living in the tropics I always had to deal with mosquitoes. I put on the mosquito repellent lotion (stinks). They are everywhere.

Mosquitoes are the worst! I thought they were bad in Alaska but I've heard horror stories about the tropics that make me grateful for the population size in Alaska.

I have to deal with cockroaches. I am living in an appartement. We had a bakery on the ground floor and guess what. Due all this bread it was full of cockroaches. I am using like those repellents. But it kills them.

Cockroaches are horrible! For every one you see, there are at least a hundred more you don't! I had an apartment once that was full of them until the landlord finally called the exterminator. I had a hard time sleeping my first night there, I had visions of tiny jointed legs dancing before my eyes! EWWWWWWW!!!
