Are Paid To Read websites for real?

I have to tried a couple of PTRs and they never paid. I was sucpicious at first and my fear was confirmed when I got to the payment level, the story became different.

don't get into trap of scam sites
always first check out how the site which offer you money are earning money using you.
if you are convinced with their strategy then only join them.else let go the opportunity.
