Hmmm....good question. It's a three-way tie between Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth. Final Fantasy VII wins hands down. Great story line and everything. It was actually the first ff game I ever played and got me into the whole series. Therefore, the characters always win.

OHHHH!!!! I forgot about sephiroth! Anyhows, my thought on seph is that he was not actually a bad guy. Certain circumstances led him to be like that. Imagine a game that will reveolve around seph! now that would be something!!

I actually don't like clouds new personality, I liked him in FF 7 but since advent children, dirge of cerberus etc he's just felt awkward. I do like Zack though! Ever since crisis core. So it has to be Zack Sephiroth Laguna (he's awesome!)

Personally I think Sephirot is the best FF character out there. They even made him a secret boss in kingdom hearts which was crazy strong than the last boss.

Very hard to pick. I love a lot of Final Fantasy characters that it's just hard to pick one. Now in terms of the best, I say Sephiroth is the best. He is just bad***.
