need help finding a free ebook creator for mac

I'm having a hard time finding a ebook creator for my mac can you help me please.

You can try typing it up in word/any text editor, print it to a virtual printer as a pdf. Here is a good mac virtual printer: ftp://ftp.jwwalker.com/PrintToPDF-2.4.5.sit

Franky can't be arsed to look this up. Does Open Office also run on MAC? Open office comes with a PDF convertor.
