I just can't handle all these fees and bill payment anymore. Everything just in rising price, and our salary basically stay the same. And it is too difficult to find a job right now. A personnel from Termite exterminator come to my house this morning to ask for the renew of the service. But the annual fee increasing from original $160 to $250 annually. What the heck! My insurance is going up again both in dental and health. And the price my house insurance is going up too. Everything just in the upper side, How am I suppose to keep up with all these bill payment?

I want to agree that cost of living index is on the upward trend in a most steady way through out the world, and life generally is going to get harder for the ordinary man.

This is no way to do ah,now the global economy in recession.Fast rising prices, people's wages rose more slowly.National policy problem ah.The current situation is,the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. If this is the end of the world to have that day,I would certainly like to play the movies as the rich do,on Noah's ark,the poor can only die.

No, the poor can use their brains and find ways to help themselves instead of waiting for someone else to save their rear ends. That is what business is all about - the little guy, the poor guy who has an idea and pushes to make it work. Take those ripped jeans (that sell in top-price shops for $100's of dollars)and add cute patches. Take them to a flea market and sell them. You can get them at thrift shops, Salvation army and other low price places. Have an ability to paint? take plain shirts from these same places and paint pretty scenes on them. They will sell quite nicely at flea markets, or you can leave one or two at clothing shops on consignment. Paint houses? Go out on your own and get work. It won't happen the first day or even the first week, but eventually someone will say yes. Get up, get busy and stop moaning.

Hi Kingparker, You are absolutely right, prices are going through the roof on just about anything you would want to buy. It is truely a shame how the government is allowing the public businesses to treat the citizens who are barely holding on their jobs or homes, so unfairly when it comes to charging all the extra fees and taxes. No raises on the salary that we see, that is if we can find a job in the first place. The entire system seem to be backwards. We cannot afford to buy anything much, but the prices won't come down with the falling economy. Something is truely wrong with this picture. We citizens should all banned together and call a strike on buying and goods for a while. I know that is impractical, but it sound good.

The government IS the problem, not the businesses. The government has bailed out everything in sight with OUR money. Companies, especially the smaller ones, find it impossible to get loans to run their businesses. In many companies, payroll is made from LOANS EACH MONTH FROM THE BANKS and paid back at the end of each month from profits. The banks are no longer loaning. They are holding all the billions of dollars in the 'bailouts' or using them to buy other banks. They are not making loans even to companies who have a perfect payment records. If we let companies, banks, and insurance companies fail that are headed in that direction, others with full backing will take their places. That is the normal cycle of business. Our government decided some were too big to fail - that is ridiculous. Remember, the whole world failed due to a really big flood once and there are more people living on this planet than ever before. Failure sometimes leads to rocketing growth in other sectors.

It seems like everything goes up in price day by day. Expenses seem to get bigger without our money increasing. Sometimes we don't know how we will pay for things if the prices keep going up.

The situation of continuing rise of price is worsening gradually, putting all of us in a uncomfortable position. With growing unemployment and under employment, families just counting up on their limited salaries only and having no recourse to other additional source of income have become the worst sufferer. Depending on the local conditions, one need to get engaged with some additional source of income to get over such situation. It is important to keep close alliance with some people and make some joint effort/venture to raise income. There is no dearth of opportunities around us,if we step forward to sincerely work on mutual benefits by sharing ideas, plans and solutions. Thanks.

US still does have pay increases, but for my country, there's none, even if we get promoted, we still get our old job's salary unlike the US. And even if they can increase it later, they will not retro date the promotion and give the extra pay that we should be getting, unlike the US. And in my country, everything is increasing, from fuel, and even the necessities like food and shelter... I know that termite exterminator and insurance are very important, I feel for you.. but at least you still can afford it, whereas some people in my country cannot even afford necessities like food or shelter.. They work yet they are homeless.. it's either food or home.. and even renting a room is too expensive..

Same like here in my country, all products and services are increasing almost each year. i dont know why there are sudden increase because there are no reason why things are getting higher fees.

Yeah right. One solution I know to solve this problem is financial education. This would really help us on how to invest money to defy the gravity of increasing prices with our profits.

Yes, there is an obvious trend that the price of everything is increasing day by day. What's worse, the whole society is still suffering from the financial crisis all over the world. More and more are getting losing their jobs and they are into trouble of earning a living. Several days, I just found that I was requested to pay much for my health insurance, which is really a bad news for me because I found that I can't afford to the increasing expenses. If the situation is continuing, I guess we will not continue our life at last.

From 160.00 to 250.00? That is a 90% increase! That is quite a lot. Everything is going up, and in the state our economy is in, it will continue on an upward trend. We need jobs to stabilize the economy. These companies have to charge more for their services because they have lost so many accounts due to unemployment. In my city, because we have made poor judgment in our elections our property taxes are increasing an average of $300.00 a year to offset the money the past administrations stole from the treasury and to cover the cost of lawsuits against the city. This is to continue for 10 years. Not to mention the general cost of items is increasing. It is getting more difficult to get our needs met.
