Would you kill a friend to gain the sharigan's total power?

Hey all
Quick question. I found out from the episode i just watched that in order to get the sharigan to evolve, the person must kill his best friend. If you had the sharigan, would you do it? I wouldnt, unless pherhaps he was dieing anyway, and asked me to do it (pherhaps some terminal illness or something). I would rather have the weaker sharigan, and a friend to fight beside me, than face someone alone, but with better power.
What do you think?

I am also a big naruto fan even though I am a girl. Madara killed his friend to upgrade his sharingan. But, Naruto is better than him because he has friends and he is willing to fight for his friends even with Sasuke who considers him as an enemy. Having people beside you and fighting for them is what I believe that makes people really strong. It is not the strength nor the power that makes people win in every challenges but for me it is the will of the heart. The strength that comes from fighting for those people that are important to you.

I really wouldn't do it myself. I wouldn't have the guts to do it because well..who can kill their best friend??
I'm a big naruto fan and I have seen all the current naruto shippuden series. You should really watch them and their is an episode that reveals the truth about itachi and it's really sad.
